Biography
Abby was born and raised in Arizona and is currently attending Veritas Prep. She hopes to attend Franciscan University in Ohio. Abby is a member of her school’s cheer team and volunteers with her local church’s youth group. She has a dog named Pepper and loves being part of Camp Hubbard because of its friendly environment and the opportunity to connect with campers. Her faith and family are the most important parts of her life.
Addison B.
Biography
Addison was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. She is highly involved in school activities, including varsity swim and track and field, as well as numerous clubs such as National Art Honor Society and Environmental Awareness Club. Addison plans to pursue a career working with animals, potentially as a veterinarian. She has experience working with children through volunteer camps and enjoys helping others learn and grow. Addison is the youngest in her family and has two cats. She values physical activity, creativity, and personal growth, and enjoys reading, photography, and gardening in her free time.
Alexandra P.
Biography
Alexandra was born and raised in Arizona but has traveled to places like France, Italy, and Spain. She’s a high school student and is focused on becoming the best version of herself, both mentally and physically. She plays volleyball, basketball, and varsity track and field, and is involved in leadership programs like Lanista, SSO, and Key Club. Alexandra has two younger brothers and two Maine Coon cats she adores. As a former swimmer and camper at Hubbard, she chose to return as a counselor to give kids the same fun experience she had. She values staying active and sees Camp Hubbard as a place to grow, teach, and learn lifelong skills. Alexandra believes in living life to the fullest by doing what makes you happy and staying true to yourself.
Ally E.
Biography
Ally was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. She is planning to continue her education in nursing or become an EMT. She is actively involved in her church, serving as both a youth leader and worship leader. Ally is the youngest of three older siblings, making her a proud aunt to six nieces and nephews. She loves working with kids and enjoys the fun energy of being a camp counselor. Personal growth and doing meaningful, fulfilling work are especially important to her.
Andrew D.
Biography
Andrew is from Phoenix, Arizona, and values the strong sense of community and connection in both his personal and professional life. He is married to his wife, Heather, and together they have two children, Taylon (12) and Kynslee (8). Their family also includes two dogs, Willow and Griffey. Andrew is especially drawn to the positive, family-oriented environment around him and finds joy in seeing kids succeed and build confidence. For Andrew, family and friends are what matter most, and he brings that same supportive and encouraging mindset into everything he does.

Biography
Andrew is a high school student from Phoenix. After graduation, he plans to attend a four-year university and is also considering graduate school in the future. Andrew is involved in band, swim, and jazz, which have helped shape his teamwork, creativity, and dedication. One of the reasons Andrew chose to work at Hubbard is because he enjoys helping kids have fun and feel included. He believes that everyone has an opportunity to make a difference and values creating a positive environment for those around him.
Anel I.
Biography
Anel is originally from Mexico and now lives in Phoenix, Arizona. She is a high school graduate who enjoys working and spending time with her family. Anel has three children and a lively household that includes several dogs, a cat, and even a chicken. She enjoys working with kids and hopes to help create a fun and memorable summer for campers. Family and her pets are very important to her.
Avery W.
Biography
Avery was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona, and also spent three years living in Dalian, China. She attended Sunnyslope High School and is currently a student at Tulane University in New Orleans. Avery has held leadership roles including Cross Country Team Captain and is actively involved in service and mentorship programs at Tulane. Avery enjoys visiting local coffee shops and staying connected to her community. Having loved camp as a child, she is excited to give back and create meaningful experiences for others. Family, friends, and community are central to her life.
Braden K.
Biography
Braden is from Orange County, California, and is currently pursuing a degree in kinesiology. He enjoys playing baseball and staying active. Braden has a household full of pets, including four dogs and a cat. Having attended multiple Hubbard camps growing up, he developed a strong appreciation for the program and its community. Braden values hard work, connection, and having fun in everything he does.
Bree G.
Biography
Bree is originally from California and recently graduated with a degree in sport management, along with a minor in sports psychology. She is currently pursuing her MBA in organizational leadership. Bree played college softball and now works as a college softball coach. She grew up with her grandmother and younger cousin and has traveled extensively. Bree enjoys the energetic and positive environment at camp and looks forward to returning each year. She values her faith, family, and friends.

Biography
Bri was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. She is currently in high school and plans to attend the University of Arizona to study architecture. Bri is involved in several school activities, including National Honor Society, Key Club, and photography, and she enjoys playing the flute, drawing, and reading. She comes from a close family with three brothers and enjoys spending quality time together. Bri has a cat named Milo and has always had a passion for art. She is excited to work at camp and bring joy to children. Her family, friendships, and personal growth are very important to her.
Brigitte M.
Biography
Brigitte was born in Tanzania and grew up in the Phoenix area. She graduated from Tempe High School and plans to attend Colorado College to study international political economy. Brigitte is a dedicated athlete, participating in varsity volleyball and track and field, and serves as a youth ambassador at her church. She comes from a large family with seven siblings and enjoys their competitive and supportive dynamic. Brigitte chose to work at camp because of its strong sense of community and the opportunity to mentor younger campers. Her family is her greatest motivation, and she hopes to one day give back to them for their sacrifices.
Caitlin M.
Biography
Caitlin is from Phoenix and attended Saint Theresa Catholic School and Saint Mary's High School. She is still deciding on her college plans and is exploring what path she would like to pursue after high school. Caitlin has been involved in varsity softball and golf and has spent much of her life participating in sports and working with kids. She comes from a large family with eight siblings and has a big chocolate lab named Bear. In her free time, she enjoys doing nails for herself and her friends and creating fun holiday-themed nail designs. Caitlin chose to work at Camp Hubbard because she has heard many positive things about the program from her friends and her two brothers who previously worked there. She loves that camp gives kids the opportunity to disconnect from technology, enjoy their summer, and simply have fun. Family, friends, and most importantly her faith are some of the most important things in her life.

Biography
Cash was born and raised in Phoenix, AZ, and attends Sunnyslope High School. He plans to study finance in college. He plays varsity and club volleyball, and is involved in FBLA and Chess Club. Cash has three dogs named Daisy, King, and Lacey and a younger brother who also went to Camp Hubbard. He’s excited to travel to Greece next summer with his school. As a former camper, Cash loved his time at Camp Hubbard and now wants to help other kids make great memories too. Staying positive and giving full effort are what matter most to him.

Biography
Charlotte is from Phoenix, Arizona, and currently attends Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. She plans to pursue a career in occupational therapy and attend graduate school in the coming years. Char is involved in art-related activities, sorority life, business organizations, and service programs, including justice-focused trips. She has a dog named Louie and a younger sister. Charlotte enjoys returning to camp each year because it allows her to be herself and connect with others. She values friendship, family, service, empathy, and advocating for justice and education.
Conor T.
Biography
Conor Thornton is excited to join the Camp Hubbard team this summer! Born in Tempe and raised in Scottsdale, Conor is currently a junior at Ville de Marie Academy, where he has attended school since kindergarten. He enjoys staying active through basketball and soccer and recently participated in his theater group’s production of Annie. As the oldest of four boys, Conor loves spending time with family, playing piano in his free time, and hanging out with his Aussie Doodle. He chose to work at Camp Hubbard because he enjoys helping others, loves sports, and wanted a fun and rewarding first job experience. Conor values friendships, having fun, and creating positive experiences for others, and he is looking forward to making this summer memorable for every camper!
Dani V.
Biography
Dani was born in San Francisco and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. She is currently at San Diego State University studying accounting. Dani enjoys staying active at the gym and volunteering in her community. She has a large family, including a younger adopted sister, as well as two dogs and two cats. Dani was drawn to camp because of its strong core values and meaningful experiences. She values family, community, and love above all.
Deepa M.
Biography
Deepa was born in India and moved to Arizona at a young age, where she has lived ever since. She is currently at the University of Wisconsin–Madison studying chemical engineering, with aspirations to work in product design or start her own company. Deepa enjoys dancing and staying involved in campus activities. As an only child, she spends time building complex LEGO sets, including large-scale models like the Titanic and Eiffel Tower. Having grown up attending camp, she is excited to now be a counselor and create meaningful experiences for others. She values her family, friendships, and putting her best effort into everything she does.
Dillon C.
Biography
Dillon was born and raised in Arizona and is currently at Brophy College Preparatory after attending All Saints’ Episcopal Day School from Pre-K through 8th grade. In the future, he hopes to attend the University of Oregon. Dillon participates in Track & Field and enjoys staying active. He lives with his mom and often visits family on the East Coast. While he does not currently have pets, he previously had a dog and two guinea pigs. Dillon chose to work at Camp Hubbard because he enjoys helping kids have a fun and memorable summer experience. After previously working with kids through school programs, he knew he wanted to continue creating positive experiences for children. He believes it is important for kids to have fun, stay safe, and build friendships along the way.

Biography
Emma was born and raised in Scottsdale, Arizona. She currently attends Arcadia High School and plans to attend an in-state college, where she hopes to pursue a creative and meaningful career. Emma is involved in her youth group and enjoys staying active by hiking. She has twin brothers and has two dogs and a cat named Bella. Emma chose to work at camp because she enjoys working with children and wanted a fun and active environment. She values the connections she has with family, friends, and others, and believes those relationships are essential to who she is.
Francesca D.
Biography
Francesca was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. She is attending GCU studying Sports and Entertainment Management after spending two years at Benedictine College in Kansas. She hopes to work behind the scenes in sports, possibly for the Suns or as a high school athletic director. She played basketball through high school, managed college basketball teams, and currently helps run tournaments across the valley. Francesca is one of seven siblings and loves the fun and chaos of a big family. Her brother’s great experience at Camp Hubbard inspired her to join. Her Catholic faith is central to her life. She also values family, basketball, music, and meaningful conversations.

Biography
Frank was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona, and is currently in college. He enjoys playing volleyball and golf, as well as reading. Frank has three younger siblings and a dog named Sugar. Having grown up around camp, he always knew he wanted to become a counselor. He values his faith, family, and friendships.
Gabe K.
Biography
Gabe was born in California and has lived in several places, including Philadelphia, before settling in Arizona eight years ago. He currently attends St. Mary’s Catholic High School and plans to pursue a career in engineering or medicine, with a possible path in the military. Gabe enjoys playing soccer, guitar, and participating in Boy Scouts of America. He comes from a large family with four siblings and two dogs and is proud of his Nicaraguan heritage. After a positive experience as an intern last summer, Gabe is excited to return to camp. He values his faith, family, friends, and education, and believes strongly in loyalty to others.
Gabriela A.
Biography
Gabriela is a Phoenix native and is a high school student planning to attend college. She’s involved in yearbook and drama. She has two older brothers, enjoys baking, and hopes to get another dog soon. Gabriela loves the unique, welcoming environment at Camp Hubbard and enjoys working with kids, creating lasting memories. Her family, friends, and faith are her greatest sources of joy and motivation.

Biography
Grace is from Phoenix, Arizona, and spent time living in Flagstaff while attending college. She attends Northern Arizona University studying psychological sciences with minors in sociology and social science forensics. Grace plans to attend graduate school to become a therapist. She enjoys music, concerts, baking, hiking, and spending time with animals. Grace comes from a close family and is excited to become an aunt soon. She returned to camp after enjoying the positive environment and gaining valuable experience working with children. She values safety, belonging, and helping children build confidence and self-esteem.
Ilyssa H.
Biography
Ilyssa was born and raised in Scottsdale, AZ. She is currently at the University of Arizona, majoring in Nursing and recently got accepted into nursing school. She hopes to work as an ICU nurse after graduation and eventually become a CRNA. She is part of the Alpha Chi Omega sorority, volunteers at the children’s hospital and Arizona Cancer Foundation for Children, and enjoys running. She has a younger sister, a brother, and a dog named Bella. A fun fact about her is that she doesn’t love sweets. Ilyssa chose to work at Camp Hubbard because she loves being part of a team that creates a fun and safe space for kids to learn and play. She’s excited to return this summer. Her friends, family, future, and faith are very important to her.

Biography
Isaac was born in Mesa, Arizona, and raised in Phoenix. He plans to complete high school and continue on to college. Isaac enjoys a wide range of outdoor and recreational activities, including golf, tennis, pickleball, fishing, hunting, and camping. He comes from a large extended family and is a registered member of the Oglala Sioux Tribe. Isaac has two dogs and values his faith, family, and country. Having attended camp as a child, he appreciates how closely it aligns with his personal values.

Jack was born in Flagstaff, Arizona, and spent several years living in New Jersey before returning to Phoenix. He graduated from Brophy College Preparatory and is currently studying business at the University of Arizona. Jack enjoys working out, spending time with friends and family, and trying new foods. He has two younger siblings and a dog named Max. Having worked at the swim school since high school, he is excited to continue creating fun summer experiences at camp. Jacob was born and raised in Arizona and is currently at Grand Canyon University studying electrical engineering. He enjoys participating in intramural sports and spending time staying active. Jarret is an Arizona native currently attending Mesa Community College, where he is studying exercise science. He plans to continue his education at a university after graduating. Jarret works in sports retail and also serves as an assistant varsity baseball coach. He enjoys playing baseball and staying active. Jarret has two sisters and a dog and earned his private pilot’s license at 17. He returns to camp because of the strong community and connections he has built. His faith, family, and friendships are central to his life.

Jo was born in Birmingham, England, and later lived in Manchester before moving to Phoenix, Arizona. She attended boarding school in Sedona and is currently at the University of Arizona studying psychological sciences. Jo hopes to become a clinical psychologist and raise awareness about mental health. She enjoys music, dancing, hiking, and spending time with loved ones. Jo comes from a large family and values making a positive impact on others’ days. Kindness, equality, and connection are especially important to her.

Josh was born in California and raised in Winslow, Arizona. He holds a bachelor’s degree in biblical and theological studies with a minor in coaching, with an emphasis in swimming. Josh enjoys reading, sports, working out, and participating in church activities. He has a passion for athletics and appreciates the beauty of nature, especially the beach and mountains. Josh works at our Hubbard swim school and was inspired by its core values to continue working at camp. His faith, family, friendships, and appreciation for life are most important to him.

Karissa was born and raised in Arizona and is currently in high school. She plans to attend college to pursue a career in nursing. Karissa is actively involved in dance and serves as a junior leader in Young Life, where she helps create a welcoming environment for others. She is an only child and hopes to have a dog in the future. Karissa chose to work at camp because of its strong sense of community and inclusivity. She values friendship and enjoys building meaningful connections with others.

Katie was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. She recently graduated from Arcadia High School and is now attending the University of Arizona, where she is studying elementary education and minoring in speech pathology. Katie plays club volleyball and is involved in her sorority. She comes from a family of five and has a dog named Bandit. This is her fourth summer at camp, and she enjoys building meaningful relationships with campers and staff. She values helping others grow and succeed.

Kaycee was born in Scottsdale, Arizona, and attended college in West Virginia. She recently earned her bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and will begin pursuing her master’s degree while participating in ROTC and serving in the National Guard. A former college soccer player, Kaycee enjoys staying active through fitness and outdoor activities. She has two dogs and a younger sister. After two great summers at camp, she is excited to return again, especially to reconnect with campers and meet new ones. Her family, friends, and career goals are very important to her.

Maren was born in Phoenix, Arizona, and also spent time living in Indiana. She attends the University of Mary, where she is pursuing a master’s degree in occupational therapy. She hopes to work in pediatrics and will be studying abroad in Rome. Maren has participated in multiple sports and remains active through intramurals and community involvement. She enjoys photography, backpacking, and rock climbing. Maren loves working with kids and values creating a safe, fun, and supportive environment for them to grow.
Matthew N.
Biography
Matthew Neshwat is excited to join the Camp Hubbard team this summer! Born and raised in Phoenix, Matthew graduated from Thunderbird High School and is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Data Science at Arizona State University. He enjoys exploring a variety of interests including cooking, art, coding, working out, and spending time with friends and family. Matthew also has a dog named Percy who keeps life fun outside of school and work. He chose to work at Camp Hubbard because he wants to make a positive impact and help create meaningful experiences for campers throughout the summer. Matthew values strong relationships, personal growth, and making the world around him a better place, and he is looking forward to bringing positive energy to camp each day!

Max was born and raised in Arizona and is working toward a career involving children. He is actively involved in taekwondo, both teaching and competing. Max comes from a large family with five sisters and one brother, along with two dogs. He has previously worked at camp and enjoys creating fun and engaging experiences for kids. Mitzi O.
Biography
Mitzi was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Wellness from Arizona State University, followed by a Master’s degree in Sports and Exercise Psychology from Argosy University, and a teaching certificate from Grand Canyon University. Mitzi spent eight years as an elementary physical education teacher, where she developed a passion for helping students stay active and confident. In her free time, Mitzi enjoys puzzling, playing in a women’s basketball league, and expressing her creativity through painting and drawing. She is the youngest of three siblings and has two dogs—a golden retriever named Donatello and a pug named Luna. Mitzi values family above all and believes in the power of play, enjoying how it brings out the best in people of all ages.

Biography
Nate was born and raised in Phoenix. He’s graduating from Pensacola Christian College with a degree in English Education and plans to start teaching during the 2025–2026 school year. He enjoys playing basketball and has a close-knit family with his mom, dad, two sisters, and a dog named Peaches. Nate chose to work at Hubbard because it’s a great job that offers the chance to make a meaningful impact. His family is the most important thing to him.

Biography
Rachael was born and raised in Arizona. She plans to attend Arizona State University to study psychology and Catholic studies, with the goal of becoming a child life specialist. Rachael is involved in volleyball, theater, and choir and enjoys writing poetry and exploring the outdoors. She has two older siblings and two dogs. This is her fourth summer at camp, and she enjoys building relationships and creating positive experiences for kids. She values faith, family, friendships, and helping others.
Satchel L.
Biography
Satchel was born in North Carolina and moved to Arizona before turning one, where he has lived ever since. He currently attends Arcadia High School and is focused on his academics with the goal of attending a competitive college. Satchel is actively involved in baseball and is also a member of the Arcadia Ambassadors. He has three brothers and a dog named Clover. Summer camp has always been an important part of Satchel’s life. He attended Hubbard and other day camps growing up before starting a seven-week sleepaway camp at age eight, where he spent many summers and developed a love for the camp experience. Now that he has aged out, working at Hubbard allows him to stay connected to that same fun and positive environment. Satchel strives to give his best effort in everything he does, whether in school, sports, or time with family and friends.
Sean B.
Biography
Sean was born and raised in Connecticut. He went to college and student-taught in New York before moving to Arizona in 2018. He holds a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from SUNY Cortland and a master’s in teaching and reading from Grand Canyon University. Sean has taught 4th grade for seven years and aims to create positive learning experiences for his students. He has coached youth basketball for 13 years and also has experience coaching youth soccer and flag football. Sean has a cat named Bubbles. He appreciates that Camp Hubbard offers kids opportunities to be active while learning, and he looks forward to fostering a passion for sports in the kids he works with. Creating fun, meaningful, and safe learning experiences for all children is very important to him.
